The Southeast Women of Distinction Awards is back for a second year! This event is intended to carry on the tradition of the Women of Today Awards in Estevan, which had been awarded in the community for 21 years, the last time in 2019. 

  

On May 2nd, 2024 supporters of women in the Southeast will celebrate with a familiar luncheon at the Wylie Mitchell Building in Estevan. Five awards will be distributed to deserving women in the Community, chosen from nominees in the following categories: 

  

• Innovator Award (Entrepreneur/Leadership) 

• Outstanding Contribution to the Workplace Award  

• Outstanding Young Visionary Award  

• Equity Award (Non-traditional, Overcoming Barriers) 

• Outstanding Contribution to the Community Award  

  

The organizing committee values the contributions of the women of Southeast Saskatchewan and wants to celebrate their accomplishments with the continuation of this prestigious annual event. The vision of the organizing committee is to amplify the accomplishments of women in the 5 award categories, in their workplace and in the community, through leadership, hard work or the perseverance to overcome obstacles to success. 

  

Profits from the event will be put towards our newly developed scholarship program.
