The Young Woman of Distinction Scholarship celebrates exceptional young women in Southeast Saskatchewan who demonstrate leadership, vision, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.

This scholarship recognizes individuals who inspire others through their achievements in academics, athletics, volunteerism, or community building. It reflects the core values of the Women of Distinction Awards: vision, initiative, perseverance, and service.

This scholarship distributes funds raised at the Southeast Women of Distinction Awards in Estevan, which have been presented in the community for more than 20 years.

Eligibility
  • Be under the age of 20 at the time of application.
  • Reside in one of the following Southeast Saskatchewan school communities:
    • Estevan
    • Midale
    • Lampman
    • Oxbow
    • Stoughton
    • Carlyle
    • Arcola
    • Redvers
    • Carnduff
    • Gladmar
    • First Nation
  • Consent to the use of name and photo for recognition purposes.
Criteria
  • Uphold qualities of integrity, vision, and initiative.
  • Demonstrate leadership, volunteerism, and community involvement.
